Abyss

A white area is a cartographic term used to denote an unexplored area.

Little explored areas, abyssal depths reveal life forms of a completely different kind. A waking dream where the unexpected prevails (reigns).

 

“Zone Blanche” is the name of a body of work made using the embossing technique.

The etchings here are the sketched version, very close to the drawings found in the Zone Blanche book.​
