The Rémy Cointreau Foundation's mission is to support, in France and abroad, initiatives of general interest for the promotion and transmission of excellent know-how.
At the end of 2021, in order to support me in my will to develop & to transmit the engraving of typographic punches as well as the techniques of intaglio, the Rémy Cointreau Foundation has honored me with the purchase of a new intaglio press for the workshop.
This large format press (80/150 cm) was manufactured in Spain by the company Tórculos Ribes.

HOMO FABER is the title of the Venetian event organized by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.
The Michelangelo Foundation, created in 2016, aims to preserve & perpetuate craftsmanship at the European level by supporting the valorisation of know-how by developing professional networks associating public & private, schools & museums.

The workshop had the honor to participate in the first edition of HOMO FABER that took place from September 14 to 30, 2018 on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore & is now part of the Homo Faber guide, an online platform for arts and crafts in Europe.

Created in 1994 by the Ministry of Culture, the Maîtres d'art - Élèves program contributes to the perpetuation of remarkable and rare know-how in the arts and crafts.
It supports the transmission of skills that embody the excellence of art crafts, participate in the economic and cultural life of France and for which there are no longer any training courses.

Recognized Master of Art & Student in 2013, by the Ministry of Culture, we committed ourselves with Nelly Gable to ensure together the transmission of the engraving of typographic punches & the striking of dies.
This transmission resulted in 2019 by the publication of the book "drawings of movement, engraving & typographic punch" to the editions des Cendres & in partnership with the INMA.

The intangible cultural heritage (ICH) encompasses practices and knowledge that everyone inherits in common, and that they collectively strive to keep alive, recreate and transmit. This living heritage stems from the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, ratified by France in 2006 and implemented by the Ministry of Culture.

Launched in March 2008, the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage aims to record living practices with the help of communities, groups and individuals. It aims to meet the obligations of the UNESCO Convention, but it also provides a tool for public knowledge.

The skills of the engraving of type punches & the striking of matrices have been listed on the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage since February 2018.
